California fires have killed 29 people, and the weather continues to stay dry. Hundreds of people are missing as the blaze has affected cell phone towers making communication difficult. Statewide more than 8,000 firefighters are working to contain the inferno. The worst of the fires are in Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties in Northern California. An unprecedented 21 fires are burning in California.

More than 50 people killed and 500 wounded when
shots rang out shortly after 10 P.M. in Las Vegas, Nevada into a crowd of concert goers across the street from the Mandalay Bay hotel.
The group at first thought the shots sounded like firecrackers or fireworks. The Route 91 Harvest Festival attracted 22,000 people.
As people began to fall from the assassin’s bullets, the horror of was happening started to dawn.
The shooter identified as Stephen Paddock was staying at the Mandalay Bay hotel. His room on the 32nd floor gave him an expensive view of the concert venue below. The killer used an AR-15 type rifle with a bump or slide fire modification.

Incredible destruction as seen from the air with residents left homeless and no way to communicate with the outside world. Electricity is out over 90 percent of the island nation.  No telephones. No cell phones. No way to drive throughout the country as roads are damaged  or destroyed.Hurricane Maria brought 160 mile an hour winds and six deaths. That number is sure to rise as searches and rescues continue.
